Hi, I’m Beatrice, the heart behind Taka Dog Walk. I grew up in New York City, and dogs have always been my grounding, my joy, and my favorite company. What started with my beloved Mischa and a few Weehawken walks has grown into a true community of dogs and humans I adore.
I believe that when you trust someone with your dog, you’re trusting them with a piece of your heart. I don’t take that lightly, and neither do The Taka Dog Walkers. We are all parents of our own beloved fur babies. Our promise is that your dog will always be treated with the same love, protection, and respect we give our own.
At home in Oakland, I live with my husband and our pack of dogs — there’s always fur, laughter, and at least one snoring dog nearby.
In Loving Memory of Mischa
This was Mischa, or Mama, the dog who changed my life. We met in 2008 at Liberty Humane Society, and she inspired the creation of TAKA Dog Walk. Mischa welcomed many animals into our home over the years, and her care led me to build a service dedicated to the health and happiness of dogs and their families. Though she’s no longer with us, her memory continues to guide everything we do.
